Maybe a European A2 headlamp switch and/or harness works the same way. I recall noticing that the left side lamps and the right side lamps were wired separate up to the switch on my 85.

Take a look at a Mercedes-Benz headlamp switch - It allows the user to switch on the left or right side parking lamps for just this purpose AND since it only illuminates one side of the car, it reduces the battery drain. _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
