I agree with this. Just at Waterfest I was asked if I had a jack, lug nut wrench, and jumper cables. Of course I had all of these, but I was think who would leave their house for a long drive (these guys were from Massachusetts I think) without this stuff. The last thing I want is to be stuck on the road because I didn't bring something stupid with me. VW's have this great stow-away compartment where the spare, the jack, and a lug nut wrench (mine even has a phillips/flathead screwdriver [THANKS AGAIN DAVE!] hidden in the end and also a handy little 10mm/13mm wrench) all fit perfectly with barely any weight loss and zero space loss. The people that decide to take that stuff and toss it aside for amps and subs are stupid to me. I definitely comes in handy.

Sniff, Sniff, old Fart, who me??? <g>

Actually, some the the used VWs I have purchased have had broken or missing
tire changeing equipment.
Heck, I have been at some VW Shows and have had people ask to borrow this
equipment because their
VWs did not have the equipment or it was broken.
