My old G60 GTI with 185 wheel hp and 185 wheel ft lbs of torque was handled with a stock 16v clutch set. I put over 50k miles on that clutch doing track events and *never* had a problem.
Drag racing is hard on clutches, no matter how gently you attempt to launch. Either get a monster clutch that's gonna suck driving it on the street or try to scale back the drag racing and modify your driving style a bit to get more life out of the clutches... -josh --- [email protected] wrote: > Yup, once again I blew my clutch.
