I use the Leistritz on my '91 GLi and love it.  i use it as my daily driver
(30 miles on the highway one way) and you don't notice the noise very much.
Nice tone, but not over bearing.

The Leistritz is mosdef quieter then the TT with the muffler and one 
resinator.  I had an autotech that was very quiet but sucked.  So maybe add 
the additional resinator to the TT system and you'll be good.
