Sound levels are highly regulated in England. So the english-made Jetex exhaust systems are supposed to comply with those strict sound level standards. They are advertised as quiet alternative exhaust systems. Here in the states, they are sold by New Dimensions. I looked closely at the Jetex systems at the last ND show and they seem to be very well made. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who has one installed to comment on their performance.

My car is too loud for me. I need to find myself a nice, quiet performance exhaust. I have heard mixed reviews about the noise level of the TT exhausts, in various "trim" levels, I guess you could call it. The Leistritz I had was a bit loud for my taste, and the Supersprint I have now is too loud(rear muffler only). I have heard lots of talk about Gillett(sp?) exhausts, but no info on where to get one. Discuss. I value the thoughts, opinions, and experiences on this list, something I can't really say about VWVortex. Help me out guys.
