[a2-16v-list] Performance Exhaust...need something quiet

I have a TT/Borla stainless steel on my 92 GLI. If I had to do it again, I 
think that I might have tried to find something quieter. Yeah, I'm getting 
older as well. When it warms up, I'm putting some soundproofing on the 
floor pans/in the doors to make things a little quieter. In a way, I'm a 
little annoyed that I got the TT, and didn't stay with the stock (even 
though I can feel the HP/spool up gains). It's a tough call- the stock VW 
exhaust is just so darn expensive. I like the sound of the TT, but I don't 
want to feel like some muscle-head waking up the neighborhood with my loud 
car. Has anyone ever added a second resonator to at TT, like some people 
have suggested? That actually sounds like a good compromise...
