The list works - I just haven't been overly responsive lately. The General Li is in rather sad state of disrepair following a rather dramatic incident at the MARRS OG Racing Labor Day double. I got tapped twice entering turn 4 (downhill, off-camber right hander), spun and smacked the tire wall with the left side of the car. The damage was rather extensive - the front was pushed to the right and up about a foot in both directions, the drivers door was crushed BUT the glass still functioned and the rear quarter panel was more than a bit wavy.
The car has been in reconstruction ever since - the front of the car is now straight but the quarter panel is still "in transition". Once that's done, I need to address the front suspension as it appears that the left knuckle and control arm are bent. On a positive note, the engine runs AND the fresh engine that I've been seeking for so many years is finally done. Naturally AFTER I crashed the car...
