Still here , haven't had a 16v for a couple of years now , not since the accident , but I still like to read the posts here and locally (www.vwclub.co.za) , and if I can help out the guys on problems seeing as I owned he Jetta 16v 2.0 for 7 years. My daily driver is a Jetta mk4 2.3 V5 20 valve , what a beautiful motor , it reminds me so much of the 16v , revs to 7k , it starts to really pull after 3k and at 4.5 k the variable inlet opens and after a slight lag it blasts off to the 7k red line , being a 5 cylinder it also make a awesome sound , turns heads when I wind her up ....
