Still here as well. I also miss the racing diaries. My 91 gli is in a thousand pieces. I need to pull the motor and she will be ready for the body shop. Then I can put her all back together again. It has only taken three years to get to this point, but I had my first child in those years. I also spend a lot of time just doing oil changes and maintenance on mine (04 V8 Touareg) and my wife's (01 golf 1.8t) daily drivers. Just did my first mod on the Touareg. Installed a Euro headlight switch and wired the rear fog light. I plan to keep the the gli even though it is not that fast. It always put a smile on my face.

Well, I'm still here. I miss the racing diaries and the build reports. I do read whatever comes down the pipe whenever someone posts. Myself, I've done little to my 16V which has been disassembled in my garage for over four years now. I recently sold two of my other VWs so now I"m left with the Corrado and the Golf 16V. With only two remaining project vehicles, the likelyhood of them eventually reaching completion goes up slightly. But since I have another daily driver, I'm not pressured to work on either of them at the moment. So I slowly make progress. And since they cost me nothing to keep in the garage, They'll remain ongoing projects.
