Great!  Something told me that might have been the case.  I’ve never had much 
luck with “lifetime” anything.  Especially with things that require a certain 
amount of precision.
And these old VW’s are now becoming something of a lost art.  The guy at the 
alignment shop might not have been born when our cars were manufactured.
