Hello list,

Here's more information about the problem described in my previous
email:

I typed "rpm -qa | grep kernel" and it listed everything but my
kernel-source, it's not there.

I've tried installing several items from Red Hat's add/remove
application dialog, but all are asking for KRB5-LIBS and openssl - but I
already have these! when I download the version they ask me for, Linux
tells me I have a newer version installed, and when I download the
latest version Linux tells me it already is installed.

These problems seem to happen since I upgraded my Kernel (from Red Hat's
up2date utility). It seems like it hasn't recognized a new kernel has
been installed - so now I can't install anything.

I think that's why kernel-source package I downloaded wasn't installing
- - not even GCC is installed, and I can't install it due to the problem
above!

Help :(

Keith
