I upgraded but I'm totally underwhelmed by Natty's Unity AND the Gnome3 shell. It seems that these interfaces both try to aim for the lowest common denominator. I don't consider this to be a step forward at all. I like a system that provides me with the ability to tweak it exactly as I want, not a system that is fixed in what someone considered the best option for everyone.
