No, I repeat the original post; I have an old machine, an ASUS A7N8X-X
motherboard and I've added a PCI USB 2 card that does power whatever is
plugged into it, BUT, if I connect an external drive, a USB stick, a card
reader, etc, it doesn't appear...
So to be clearer, it is an INTERNAL PCI USB 2 card that the BIOS, which is
that latest version for the motherboard, does not see.
