I buy my hardware from Microscott, here in Montreal on Sherbrooke Ave. W. So far, he's been quite competent. He's not a Linux man himself, but he does understand the issues. I imagine if everyone wanting a Linux machine were to came to him, he'd become a repostiry of Linux lore. (Not that that's likely to happen.)
