So far, he's been quite competent. He's not a Linux man himself, but he does understand the issues. I imagine if everyone wanting a Linux machine were to came to him, he'd become a repostiry of Linux lore. (Not that that's likely to happen.) Many are what we call LAMP. (Linux Apache, MYSQL, PHP) Those systems, are desktop units. Do you think that ASUS or another vendor is going to not support Linux on their motherboards? The European Community is raising serious negative vibs against MS. They are claiming that the lockdown on the desktop is a lockout. Leslie
