Thank you. This is really useful and makes a strong argument against
Mint. I've already been using Debian for more than a decade but only
with servers. I chose Kubuntu for my desktop because I wanted something
a little more bleeding edge, but Kubuntu is probably too much of that
now.
I'm going to try KDE Neon and see if that can fix my current problems
under Kubuntu. If it doesn't, I think I'll just make the switch to
Debian with Cinnamon as my desktop.
