Because all the useful networing tools in GNU/Linux are GNU tools, 
and not what's available in Android/Linux.  Android/Linux uses its 
own version of the Linux kernelm and by and large doesn't support GNU 
userspace.

I use Teksavvy because they don't hang up the phone when I tell them 
I use Linux.  They still use Bell phone lines, but not Bell's network 
services.
