Gatot, if i'm not mistaken, MM degree that you mentioned is a
program between MBA in Kellog and Master of Engineering Management
from McCormick and the degree is called "Master of Management &
Engineering"..is it?

of course either in MM or MBA courses are based on theories..but if
we compare the curriculum, let's say between MMUGM and top MBA
schools, especially for the electives courses..then most likely
we'll find that in MBA program case study represents bigger part of
the syllabus than in MM program. having said that, students are
expected to study the theories by themselves, bringing out the
knowledge into classroom and group discussion while their professors
guide the discussions and expecting questions from students..instead
of professors reading the textbooks in front of the classroom while
students taking notes or sending out sms during classes.

so in my opinion, MM and MBA are two similar degrees with similar
contents but still they are not the same thing. depends on the
objective, studying at MM or MBA could give a different learning
experience and market value to somebody.

actually, Vian, what is the purpose of your question? maybe if you
could tell us what exactly do you want to know, then we can narrow
down our discussions further..

hope it helps..thanks..
