Oh… goodness, I don’t want to get involved in this never ending debate,
MM v. MBA.

I have been swamped with SO many things to do here THAT I may not be
able to address this issue satisfactorily. My efforts to argue should
be put on this, in order to come to a conclusion that in practice there
is no significant distinction between the two! That’s something
unlikely for me at this time.

However, let me briefly suggest the following.

I have visited many places around the globe and of course experienced
myself with doing courses at top MBA schools. I never found any
significant differences as to Andy’s suggestion. We may be able to make
a convincing argument that MM is prone to emphasize on theoretical
aspects. Besides, as the name suggests, MM seems more general in the
sense that it may be applied to all fields, and not merely in business
as MBA does.

Anyhow in the end, no matter how strong our reasons are, we may have
come to the same conclusion that no practical distinction could be made
between the two. Why should we do the two then? For sure, securing two
degrees, MM and MBA, looks more prestigious than having a degree only,
either MM or MBA.
