Agreed, I'm a buyer! I've taken some serious slack, especially for my video
collection, only to have everyone want to borrow them later. HAH, I say!
Also, a taped copy of an album comes nowhere near the album/CD with artwork,
lyrics or whatever. Mix tapes, now that's a different animal altogether.

As an artist, I think mp3 is great.
