what do you mean by generic old mod stuff? yr not
gonna tell me it isnt worth the appreciation or
listen, are you? at 17, i find most of my favorite
groups came from back in the original modernist era, i
hardly think this makes me narrowminded--it means ive
done my homework! or perhaps i misunderstand--what
groups would you call "generic"? i hardly think it's
fair to suggest that the small faces or the who,
spencer etc. are generic! in fact i find many more
recent bands to be much more of a dreary bashing of
the past, particularly since they had the advantage of
being exposed to all them "generic" bands.
