I am surprised at the response from everyone. Glad to hear there is so much
enthusiastic young blood on the scene. You're a force to be reckoned with.
I'd better watch out. My initial query was old farts asking for stuff they
listened to in their youth and later bad-mouthed only to start asking for it
again in their later years.
Yes..I've had a few young non-mod people asking for the stuff WE all want to
hear. I agree Brigid, and I don't mean Who, Small Faces, Spencer Davis is
generic, but how many times (and who) can dance to My Generation ?
Every band draws from the past. No matter whether they admit it or not. What
I can't stand is 'butchering' of great songs. Anyone got any that come to
mind ?????
