I'd still prefer 60's stuff over a lot of what's about today but there's
also a hell of a lot of great new music around. I meet young mods who
want nothing to do with modern music and I just don't get it.
As for young kids being applauded for getting into the 60's fair enough
'cos it does take more effort to become a mod than something in the
current scenes but I just hope that they don't shut their ears to the
modern world when they go down that path. I know most wouldn't but I
have met a fair few people getting into a scene and never wanting to
know about anything outside of it.
