We tend to charge $1 per mailbox per month, in blocks.

For 3,000 mailboxes I would discount it -- but still, I'd charge a LOT
more than $400!

Hi Marc,

We are a small ISP as well. My first thought was that If you have to do
the support for all these mailboxes, then $400 is a heck of a bargain to
say the least...especially if this includes virus and spam filtering. I
realize some of that is discounted to be 'part of the community', but I
know how many email and calls we take in reference to email related
issues/questions. Even $1 per mailbox would still be a bargain. Yep,
they can go get a Hotmail or Yahoo account for free, but see if they get
any support or 'real' answers to their questions.

I guess part of my feeling on it is based on not so good relationships
with non/not for profit groups over the years. They want the services
for less, yet typically need the most support. :(

That's my 2 cents worth..

Good luck,

Jim Craig
