I have purged my e-mail some three or four times when it gets over 3,000, and
each time it drops down to around 2,000. I see no point to having members who
never participate and have the most casual interest in posters.

Since I have no need to purge my club list it is clear I have no fixation on
numbers. It was just something about seeing a number in the "300s" that made me
take notice.

I like MoPo the best of the online groups I am aware of, and hope it can gain
some members. Any ideas on how that can happen?

Conversely, maybe Scott could REQUIRE all members to post a lot, and if they
don't, kick them off. That should get the list down to a couple of dozen
members in no time.
