Justa short note to everyone that I was at S2art this afternoon and
had a long talk with Jack Solomon, took pictures of a Dracula
lithograph and the presses they use
later today I will be putting together a series of images for
everyone to look at
I still need to call the AFI who supplied the images to S2, but one
point that I tried to make all during the discovery process Jack
confirmed to me was that a single artist redid in some way all of the
100 AFI poster images to make them slightly different than the
original posters and one factor was MECHANICALLY RESETTING ALL OF THE
TYPE ON THE DRACULA POSTER
there should be some similar issue on the other 99 images sold by S2
or Art.com who also get their images from the AFI
I will also be trying to contact the artist who did the work to
question him about what he did to achieve the images that AFI has
be patient, I have other work to do and I have to send the images on
to John Davis and Joe Madalena (who I just had a 40 min call with)
before I get them up for everyone else to see
