There are no bad Kubrick films, but my favorite would be BARRY LYNDON, a choice that defies the conventional wisdom, I know. 30 years later 2001 seems alternately dated and exciting, while BARRY LYNDON is as fresh as when I first saw it on Christmas Day 1975 at the Wilshire Theater in Dallas, Texas.
