Ok Bruce, nice.

I try to put them next to ones made soon before or after.
But I will have a final round where the two top vote getters of each
director face off, and I imagine Double Indemnity and Sunset
Boulevard will have their showdown then!

Another nice one.
Wilder themed, and perhaps predictably Sunset Boulevard is murdering
Ace in the Hole, though I voted perversely.
Would have been interested to have seen Double Indemnity and Sunset
Boulevard showdown, which I'd imagine would be a close run thing.
Just re-watched both back to back, and while it's more a matter of
personal taste rather than a comment on merit, still far prefer
Double Indemnity.

I always make sure to vote
sometimes I vote twice- from home & from office. when I'm far more
in favor of one film particularly. But sometimes I vote against
myself to see how it comes out
yesterday Bruce had Kubrick - the Killing vs Paths of Glory
I'm shocked that Paths of Glory won this battle, especially by a
2.5-1 ratio
I love both films, and Paths is a wonderful film, but I think that
the Killing is a far superior product, even though it is a bit more
"raw" than Paths of Glory
Paths has some very stilted acting during some segments. Adolphe
Menjou in some and Wayne Morris in some others, which I don't think
the Killing has at all.
