anal retentiveness and jazz , now that's quite a large subject , jazz in itself 
is very very often a tinly little box where everyone plays like  most did 
before them calling themselves jazz musicians too , the only times that i feel 
free when making music is here when i'm in africa with young musicians who have 
not as yet fallen  into the rules trap . I prefer most music that can not get 
any label nor box as it's pretty much unlike anything you've heard before ...
