has anyone done a study of demographics of Poster buyers in Movies??like
perhaps learn about posters or even a chart of sales likePoter almanac used to be??Between Bruce and heritage it should be possible and Morrie...

as well as Sotheby's and the others..

I noticed a oversupply starting in the 90s.....as whenythe internet started there was a flood of fakes,,and lower end reprints inthe 1x 17 size and most people who just want a few titles..for the basement theater room ...dont give a hoot if its real.....they used to balk at Folded one sheets....then asked for Rolled....then asked for Folded after the bootlegs came out,,But the infringers even copied Double sided...1st I remberwas saving private ryan..and scarface...before that was the start with the star wars a with the hair and a few others ..so much time has passed that even the faks are collectible...crazy business...

I have reprint s of all old classics s that are 30-40 ears old...

fact is the biggest buyers seemd to be all hitting 60s 70s and 80s...so they see the end of the tunnel.. The young guys dont seem interested in clutter or hording..as much as baby boomers.....andbecause of new taste in art..and pop culture woman are offended by old school sexist art...and men are not into cowboys as much as guys inthiert 80s.... so the demographics havea correction....andpop culture it self.....GWTW , Monroe were staples for meinthe80s....but its the endof era..now its basically somehorror,,and better titles anda few straglers seem to be waiting out the economy or liquidating inventory as he dealers are all old hitting mid 60s and70s and80s..

the younger guys just didnt care about the 30s 40s excepta few....IMHO... .so it will be interesting to see as the interest infilm period is changing like Music and books..and media period....

we revisited so many 50s and 60s and70s inthe 80s..andnothing has had the legs of our past thats why reboots are now so common...andso everything sis a reboot of a reboot.....kinda funny....

what amaze me is my best stuff like from the teens has zero interest by most or Disney stuff..I dont care because i used my rule...get it because you like it that way ifit tanks you like it anyway...But Ifi had serious money init..Id be stressed as it would be like stocks....my son played the market recent and its been a let down......so it seems my old rule stands ..buy it for the fun and passion..if you get lucky and make money be happy...and invest in more deals.... I use the what the worst case ..as I think if I had to go door todoorand sell to unsophisticated buyers what would they pay??? 1,00 what....and some of the items need to be sold to select buyers,,,,so where are they who are theas many have passed away ....so basically....after 42 years..I have no idea what is the future but neither does most ive talked with...

I may still buy someposters ifther are sme volume deals,,because i am crazy....so if there is some huge lots send me a email....witha list or idea of titles..

Having a look at the prices fetched in the recent HA auction I notice
that quite a few don't make minimum estimate bids - overvalued, lack
of interest or decline in the market?
