Obviously I would expect you to defend the auction prices, Grey, and there is no doubting that as a whole it was probably a very successful auction for you, with some high prices over estimate. I am not raising the matter of lower bids in an effort to denigrate the auction, but I was not 'picking out specific items'. I had a watchlist of 150 items and 66 of those failed to attract a bid at the lower estimate, which is 44%. Apart from those I also noticed some others performed likewise in the times I was watching the live auction. I do not believe that HA is inclined to over-estimate, so there must presumably be some other reason for that.
