ebay has once again been pestering me lately, telling me I need to ‚adjust‘ my store listings to once again ‚comply‘ with their ‚new rules‘.

Today, I received another message from them, informing me some adjustments will soon become ‚mandatoy‘ and others will be ‚optional‘.

Their decision to introduce mandatory ‚automatic renewal‘ some time ago already pushed me to the edge and I thought about canceling my store subscription back then.

Now they are at it AGAIN. Whatever their new rules might be, I don‘t even want to know. My yearly subscription would‘ve ended in three days anyway, and after that I would‘ve been stuck with them for another year.

Not anymore. I just canceled my subscription, so on July 1, my ebay store will be history.

I was still making a little bit of money, but not nearly enough to take up with yet ANOTHER set of new rules and regulations. On top of their ridiculous fees, that is.

Also, in recent months, my quota of non-paying buyers has increased dramatically. That sellers are not allowed to leave appropriate feedback for deadbeat bidders is yet another thing that has bothered my since the day they introduced that policy.

I‘m buying and selling on ebay since 1999, so I have watched pretty much all of their so-called ‚improvements‘ over more than two decades by now. So far, I could still convince myself to stick with them, but not anymore. Enough is enough.
