I ship items, especially high end items, via UPS as they insure for items much
higher than Fedex or the post office (which I don't have much confidence in).
For any of you that ship material frequently, you might check out Pirate Ship.
They are a company that contracts with the post office and UPS for volume
discounts and they give great discounts, have incredible customer service
(Hello Matey) and they offer the post office and UPS. I've been using them for
a few years and have never had any issues and an say they are one of the best
companies I've ever dealt with.....I've gotten several dealers and others that
ship routinely to get into their program.

Thanks,
Sue

I don’t have much choice sending auction items from Australia. It always feels
risky but I use the postal service and sometimes Fedex or UPS. Havent had any
problems in all the years I have been sending things to the US.

I have sent posters to Bruce, Propstore and Heritage over the years albeit
nothing to HA for several years. I have always found Bruce great to deal with
and have sent a huge amount of posters to him over the years. Everything has
sold and there is never an issue with payment or communication. Grey at
Propstore is also great to deal with. The best result I ever had was with
Heritage but that was around 10 years ago. Their high buyers premiem puts me
off a bit. I used to send a lot to Christies in London but I don’t think they
do much these days.

I sent items to Propstore for the first time last year and did very well. I
have customers that have tried to contact Heritage to auction items off and
have never heard back after talking with two or three different people. I told
them that had never been the case in the past but I've now heard from a few
people that were having the same issue. Now, they had never auction anything
before so weren't familiar names to those at Heritage but one customer in
particular had some very high end piece to sell.....Grey at Propstore, as he
was when at Heritage is very nice to deal with. Depending on what you have,
I've had several customers over the past couple years send material to Bruce at
emovieposter.com<http://emovieposter.com> and have done very well. That's the
scoop from my end.

Good luck.........Sue - Hollywood Poster Frames and HollywoodPosters.com

send it here to Heritage. We do about 70 auctions a year now.
