[Ham] Our friend Pirsig also seems to have missed this point, as Marsha has quoted him as saying "Dualism dissolves in the light of [Noether's theorem] for all (including space and consciousness) is energy." I asked Jos rhetorically if that included Quality. Maybe for Pirsig it does. Maybe energy is Pirsig's primary source. (I wonder if anybody has ever asked him.)
[Ron] whoa, you are quoting me making reference to a qoute Marsha posted, Pirsig never said those things. as far as I can discern how you are terming it I would say DQ is Pirsigs primary source. a dynamic primary source which manifests into phenomenal reality and decays back to dynamic primary source, with the term static defining the phenomenal and the definable. Pirsig does not bother with attempting to define DQ he leaves it as undefined, he says that going that direction leads away from what his focus is on.
