     Hey Ron, this is SA,

I don't like how Ham generalizes that we're
Pirsig Parrot's and we use a poetic talk that is not
philosophy. I keep emphasizing with Ham that his
thesis is - HIS thesis, which is fine and dandy. I
like the MoQ, as I've said many times in the past,
especially to Ham due to his instance that he KNOWS we
are Pirsig Parrot's and HE KNOWS the MoQ better than
Pirsig. He talks over me, it seems, at times. I may
something back, like he copied his thesis from other
essentialists and I guess I did say this since if one
can't be creative (poetic), then they must be copying
somebody elses philosophy. Since he says one can't be
poetic (creative), then to be a philosopher according
to Ham one must be copying.
I like the MoQ.org due to its' understood MoQ
language that has been defined in two books and
papers. I have this preconceptual understanding of
reality that I've known before the MoQ. I do admit
the MoQ has helped me understand this reality I
experience, probably due to the socializing aspect on
this website that helps stir my thoughts and
experience. I'm no Pirsig parrot. I like the
language. It gets closer to the reality that I
experience than most other philosophies. Zen is
interesting too. I like some hunter/gather
mythologies (Campbell's books), as well. I do like
canoeing, meditating (just sitting), gardening,
backpacking, and camping, etc... as the best practical
living philosophies, which ZMM is about motorcycling
and Lila sailing, but I don't think these important
points in a living philosophy make me a parrot.

woods,
SA
