[Marsha]
It was pointed out recently that there have been
developed several
strategies for enhancing memory, but no strategy has
been developed
to enhance forgetting. That might be one reason why
it is difficult
for new values to settle with me(us). Maybe.
New values might also mean new morals, or thus
far, I believe it does.

Yes, ethics and values are integrated. Yet, a
new value process would mean a new moral process it
seems thus far to me. I glanced over the wiki link,
and unless there was something specific the ethics
described already had questions in mind and answers in
mind. That is law. It is a pre-thought out statement
to cover the dynamic processing of society. Nothing
wrong with that. Yet, dynamic quality is the highest
quality, thus, highest value, and as each of these a
the same, therefore the highest moral. So, the
highest moral is left as a ?, question mark. Ah, but
to intellectualize is the next highest moral act.
These levels are acts, they are events. So, to
intellectualize is very moral. It is not so much the
laws, or that which we carve into stone as to what is
moral or not moral. It is the act itself that is
dignified.
And here, I believe, it ties into what Marsha
mentioned as forgetting. To be creative and enhance
our understanding of this world via intellectualizing,
and thus, dynamically, not only coming to know this
world, but staticly live it, for all the levels are
joined as static quality. So, as wiki mentions about
what ethics is as follows:
"It is divided into three primary areas:
meta-ethics (the study of the concept of ethics)..."
Ok.
"normative ethics (the study of how to determine
ethical values),"
The moq states that the static levels are moral,
and beginning with the inorganic level each next level
onward to intellectual level is more moral than the
next. Dynamic quality being of the highest moral.
The moq determines this already. The how, that is a
good question.
"...and applied ethics (the study of the use of
ethical values)."
By applying the intellectual level, and each
subsequent level we would be wisely applying morals
the moq would state. By applying dynamic quality and
thus, clearing the intellectual level to new
open-minded, creative thoughts is morally helpful.
So, a kind of forgetting, the empty tea cup, is
very moral. I didn't see wiki covering this anywhere.
