Hi Marsha,

What does the Dalai mean when he says freedom?
Is he referring to the freedom to choose one's parents in the next life? or
the greater freedom to avoid reincarnation altogether and step out of the
game and into the void?

If he means the extra but still limited freedom afforded by recognition of
one's conditioning then I can go along with his words in the paragraph you
clipped. Otherwise I would have to compartmentalise his verbiage along with
all the other creationist claptrap.

Regards

-Peter
