I include S/O as an intellectual
pattern, and non-S/O is also an intellectual pattern.
I'm concentrating on these leaves falling now, and
this mindful pattern is intellectual to me, as well as
organic, and such. Dmb looks for certainty and some
others like uncertainty, but what's this experience of
intellectualizing like anyways. It's about the
hang-ups and the withdraw from dynamic experiences
that bogs us down anyways.
Today, at moments, I've got my mind on this apple
pie my wife made, and that's the only reality I'm
aware of. Intellect is more dynamic than anything
that I can absolutely define, but I admit it's fun and
helpful to get a handle on this aspect of our life
from time to time; yet we still need to 'just do it'
aka Jordan style.

Yesterday, I got my daughters up early. We went up
Into the woods to play a game. The game was to make a lunch
Outside with strictly what the woods provided.(I cheated for
the main course) but we dug a fire pit and cleared around it
in traditional style. We gathered rocks to hedge the flame
and offer a heated cooking surface. We got water from taking a clean
cloth and mopping the dew from the grass in the field and wringing it
out into a pot (I cheated with the fire) with some paper I had in my
pocket we coaxed a small smouldering flame into a nice fire.
Placed the pot of water on the rock in the fire and began shelling
Acorns which littered the ground. We sang songs, made jokes and boiled
Acorns to get the bitterness out, saving the brown juice
(which is medicinal for poison ivy) and roasting the acorn meat.
I snuck down to the house and put hotdogs on some paper plates
And returned to whittle sticks and roast hot dogs and snack on
Warm acorns with the girls. My youngest who is six leaned back with
A sigh and said "this is just like home"
Sitting there next to the fire in the woods, with full bellies
And full hearts, I felt the same way.
