It is the clinging to the false that makes the true so
difficult to see. The real is always with you; you need
not wait to be what you are. Only you must not allow
your mind to go out of yourself in search. When you want
something, ask yourself: do I really need it? And if the
answer is not, then just drop it.

- Nisargadatta Maharaj

Has it been ten years ?
All this time spent searching
for the holy grail of the MOQ,
this elusive definition,
wretched definition.
Why wont it define itself ?
Why wont it manifest before me ?

Its really cruel of Pirsig
to tease me of a Quality
that lies beyond my constructs
an undiscovered country
so to speak beyond my intellect
but is this not where I stand ?
at the frontiers of my perception
my rationality and emotions
my humanity ?

The logic follows perfectly
if there is an inorganic
there must be an organic
and there must be a social
and then an intellectual -
the scaffolding of life

the buddha said
ehi passiko, verify
dont take my word for it

getting there requires letting go
i know
those that see beyond the false
grasp the real
and its been all words only words
that held the meaning behind them

Once I have seen what it means
I have no more use for the words
mine, Pirsig's nor the Buddha's..

Has it been ten years ?
Where have I been all this time ?
