Hi SA I could not think of any extra way to explain.
Try this. I need to write a sentence in an email. There are more POSSIBLE (emphasis on word) sentences then could be written between now and the end of time. I have access to a small part of this possible range, yet even this is vast and I will die before I could write all the sentences I am capable of. But I live and so I must choose. And these are the sentences I give you. From the possible (that is real and exists for me, how else do I access it) I decide which sentences to make actual. And here they are. Quite magical and a big responsibility when you come to think of it. The past puts us within reach of a certain range of the possible, but we can only actualise a small part of what is possible for us, so we have to choose. Such is life.It is a forsaking of much that is possible to actualise very little of it. Does that help?
