Aside from sitting-closed eye zazen (meditation),
which is not very active, I walk in the woods, creek
fish (though not in the last few months, but I'm
itchin' to go back out), sometimes lake fish, canoe
(though with the cold weather season I haven't been
out recently), and make camp-type fires (the gathering
wood and building has certain repitituous patterns),
which this latter I'm doing often now. I love making
fires in the woods when the snow is falling!
Occasionally I backpack, at least once a year, but
usually more than once. Every once in awhile I run up
a steep hill in the back yard.
woods,
