GOF Secularism "has traditionally been" such a tool. Religion is a tool too .. for reminding us that even SOMism / SOMist-Science can't (shouldn't / mustn't) ignore values. Enlightened secularism - eg MoQism - has learned the errors of those GOF SOMist / Religious / Idolatrous / Scientific ways.
