Ham: All this sophistry is an attempt to convince yourself and others that individual awareness is a "dangerous myth" that certain elitists have overcome with a collective notion of Intellectual Supremacy. This is plain nonsense. Intellect is the product of human reasoning, which is derived
from the value-sensibility of free agents. Value can only be made aware to a conscious entity that is differentiated from the uncreated source. Ron Kulp and Vygotsky notwithstanding, all knowledge, all truth, all symbols, all concepts are no more than this differentiated awareness. Without it, there would be no universe, no knowledge, no value, no freedom, and no purpose for existence. Ron; Hold on there, I simply posted a link to an essay, not mine mind you. I thought that link pertained to how individual value-sensibility of free agents interacted and participated in its own intellectual creation. Individual awareness is not a myth as you rightly state. But intellectual awareness relies on it's interdependency with its Social structure. This point rallies around the individual not Dismiss it. It is a radical concept in so much as it values the individual Awareness, you have it pegged correctly it is a theory based on a collective But it is a theory which radically includes the individual within the Collective body of thought. It is in constant flux in regard to the Individual constantly reshaping inherited body of knowledge through Individual value awareness. Fee agency then is a combination or the conflict of Individual Value awareness and social value awareness. " Intellect is the product of human reasoning, which is derived from the value-sensibility of free agents." -in relationship to a social value sensibility. If I may add that. Ham, I was wondering if you read the work of David Bohm. His Thoughts are very similar to yours and was the source of the Link I posted that Arlo was referring to. If you are interested In assessing it with your own value sensibility, I'll post the link Again.
