Hi David, De-evolution .... yes indeed that is the fear / risk / issue.

At the socio-intelectual-cultural level in this age of mass
communication - the global village, it is so easy for bad ideas to
evolve. Hence "memetics" ...

Strangely, I was revisiting "Devo" recently ....
.... but that's probably another story Jocko Homo.
