Bo:
You twist my phrases out of shape. "Bo reserves the 4th. level..." 
sounds like there was a level waiting to be filled with some 
content. And "..many brains in animals that can't make that 
distinction..." What is that supposed to mean? My idea is that 
brains can "manipulate experience", but this was only seen as 
subjective taking place in a matter organ on the 4th. level.

More distortings. "Expels the 4th. level from the brain"!? Brains 
are biology and it's value patterns (along with all biology) is 
turned into social value by the 3rd. level. Brain's social function 
went on to serve intellect, but at this level it became the site of 
mind and mind is what most people call "intellect", however from 
MOQ seen the 4th. level's VALUE is the said mind/matter 
distinction. 

SOM (intellect before the MOQ) saw the S/O divide as 
fundamental, hence  its paradoxes that the MOQ dissolves, but 
that's another story.
