Why do you have to interpret it as dirty or bad, or anything like that? 
Noone has said anything about "better" or anything like that - just 
different. It just fits, that's all. If it works, it works.

What you have said doesn't really go against the SOL at all. The brain would 
be something belonging to all four levels, like a lot of things do, but in 
different ways, and depending on what level is the dominant, that is how the 
brain is used. Its simple.
