Good question. Lately I've only gotten into this again because Platt has been
trying to pass of distortions as "MOQ". With Ham, I mostly ignore it, since he
says outright that he does not agree with Pirsig. Fair enough to me. But Platt
is worse, as he pretends to be aligned with the MOQ. (Well, to be fair he
likely is interested in it, but only so far as he can warp it into some
neoconservative apologist doctrine).

It's obvious that Platt has no respect for reason or evidence. In ten years
time I've not seen an inch of movement or growth. Day after day and year after
year its just the same old tired cliches. The same old anti-intellectual,
ditto-head plattitudes, ones that have nothing to do with the MOQ and
everything to do with right-wing politics.

Amen. And of course all Platt can do is respond with some inane "Pee-Wee" about
how "you do the same thing but only leftisty" ("I know what you are but what am
I?").
