SA: Interesting explanation of "meta-", which is a
good start, since metaphysics begins with "meta-".
When I stated, "Metaphysics is 'what reality is'", one
could go anywhere, everywhere, and nowhere from this.
This statement could have one wonder "what is this
reality one is referring to?", but I didn't answer
this question. One might wonder, 'Well, that's a
settled statement, as if whoever wrote it has already
decided what reality is.' Another perspective might
infer that metaphysics is reality, thus, whatever
reality 'is', then metaphysics is another fancy word
for such a reality. I didn't conclude any of these.
I left it open. Thus, almost by accident, I reveal
what I think metaphysics is.
