that idea has done the rounds here before too,

A metaphysics is "merely" an intellectual pattern. Agreed.
Ham called it "only" a theory. We're all agreed.
Such a pattern may indeed be bound to SOMism - when it starts.
The clue is "when it starts".

MoQ includes the basis of its own evolution, from that start point.
(For me that's its perfection - but it's a recursive cycle that breaks
the logic in some people's heads.)

Anyway, having evolved from SOMism to a Quality-based metaphysics, it
hasn't stopped evolving, (and it still can't have answered any
"first-cause" question, nothing can, beyond theory.)
