Does he have A plan? Is it something akin to Radical empiricism? Hi Ron, SA, Marsha, Bo and all: IMO, Ron, the intellectual level is a conscious/mechanical evolutionary hybrid S/O. I want to focus on ³The CULTURE quote² There was a difference between Marsha¹s grandson¹s reaction to a loud sound, and Marsha sensing his panic and need for comfort. The child¹s reaction was a response to the dynamic value-sound, Marsha¹s response was from culture, a mechanical act. Children are taught very early to use CULTURE glasses, and must unlearn to use CONSCIOUS/DYNAMIC glasses. In thinking of the S/O divide, I also see a conscious/mechanical, inner/outer divide at the Intellectual level. The intellectual glasses of CULTURE are mechanical: ³I ALWAYS KNOW WHAT TO DO!² ³You have to be carefully taught!² This is not childlike behavior! Moon (mechanical) and Earth (conscious) cooperate in evolution to the social level of proprietary awareness (mechanical/conscious). Evolution continues with a conscious/mechanical evolution to the intellectual level (law)! Culture is the mechanical description! Here Mechanical Evolution stops, and only Conscious Evolution continues to two further levels, the inner conscious relationship in outer/inner. Maybe Mechanical, Conscious Language MCL, instead of SOL is more meaningful, or maybe OIL. Joe
